Circe Ervina is a Photographer, Creative and Cultural Manager (Madrid, 1982). She holds a Master's in Photographic Projects from Photoespaña (2023) and graduated from the European University with a degree in "Audiovisual Communication" (2006).

She believes that storytelling is most effective and powerful when rooted in close intimacy with subjects and an understanding of the stories behind the lens. After completing "Everything that changes," she realized that her entire journey had been focused on uncovering the significance of her fascination with rural communities. It was as if she saw beauty in the isolated, exploring the spiritual connections and narratives woven throughout her photographic work.

Circe's work delves into the intersections of social impact, human rights, and environmental awareness, emphasizing relationship-based narratives that place individuals within their own stories, directly connected to their experiences. Firmly believing that time, trust, and understanding are key to portraying subjects authentically, many of her projects unfold over several years, allowing for a deeper exploration of the lives and cultures she captures.

Passionate about all aspects of human psychology and the power of art to generate social impact, Circe specializes in identifying, researching, and narrating stories with a direct connection to her personal experiences. She adopts a profound documentary approach from an introspective and conceptual perspective, merging reality with symbolic elements.

With over 15 years of experience, Circe strives to bring innovation and creativity to each project. She has collaborated with companies such as Europa Press, Photoespaña, Instituto de las Mujeres, Agency Grey, Ogilvy, and Ted Prize, among others. Beyond her role as a photographer and director, Circe Ervina has played significant roles in the cultural realm. Serving as a cultural manager and curatorial assistant for prestigious institutions like Instituto de las Mujeres, Instituto Cervantes, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Sala Canal, she actively contributed to the organization of Cristina de Middel's recent exhibition. These cultural experiences have enriched her understanding of art, allowing her to engage in projects transcending the boundaries of visual art, and making a meaningful contribution to the world of culture.

Highlighting her recent participation in the prestigious Photoespaña 2023 festival, where she had the privilege to exhibit her documentary photographic work "Everything That Changes".
